At Delta Dental, giving back is part of who we are. We believe healthy smiles start with healthy communities, and we’re committed to making a difference where we live and work.
We partner with nonprofit organizations working to address the social determinants of health, and invest in programs that improve access to care, advance health equity and support the well-being of our neighbors.
Oral health is intrinsically connected to public health, education and economic development, and it’s complicated by underlying issues including poverty, unequal access to healthcare and educational opportunity. That’s why Delta Dental supports initiatives that build healthy, smart, vibrant communities.
Our impact in 2025
Employee engagement
Our people don’t just work here. Through volunteerism, donation matching and service projects, Delta Dental employees also roll up their sleeves to support causes close to their hearts. Whether it’s packing meals, mentoring students or planting community gardens, we’re proud of the passion our team brings to every effort.
In 2025, nearly 800 employees at Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana volunteered more than 3,500 hours and donated nearly $42,000 to more than 100 nonprofit organizations.

The Delta Dental Foundation
Our nonprofit, charitable organization serves as the philanthropic arm of Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. Oral and overall health are intrinsically linked. But for many people, the tools and education that can help keep their mouths healthy are often out of reach. We’re aiming to change that.
